Active voice atau kalimat pasif digunakan ketikaa subyek menunjuk pada orang/benda yang
melakukan kegiatan.
Passive voice atau kalimat aktif digunakan ketika subyek
menunjuk pada orang/ benda yang menerima tindakan (baik pelakunya diketahui
atau tidak).

1. Present tense
AV : Mother makes a cake
PV : A cake is made by mother
2. Present
continous tense
AV : The maid is
sweeping the floor
PV : The floor is
being swept b the maid
3. Past Tense
AV : Father
brought some books
PS : Some books were brought by father
4. Past continous
tense
AV : My brother
was reading a novel
PV : A novel was
being read by my brother
5. Present perfect
tense
AV : The children have collected some stamps
PV : some stamps have been collected by the children
6. Future tense
AV : I will finish the task
PV : the task will be finished by me
7. Future perfect
tense
AV : he will have written the novel

AV : you should obey the rules
